Alere Healthcare Connections is proud to have been the first occupational health provider in the UK to become fully accredited and able to provide medical services under the Fitness for Task Standards for the Construction Industry.

Constructing Better Health (CBH), a non-profit making organisation responsible for the improvement of health of workers in the construction industry, is responsible for setting these standards for both work-related health issues, and competency of occupational health provision. Membership of the CBH National Scheme is for all contractors regardless of size or turnover.  Contractors who work within the standards gain real benefits not only from a reduction in days lost due to work related illness but also from their reputation as a good employer with visible investment in employee health and welfare.
